Father Sinclair Oubre, president of Apostleship of the Sea U.S.A., will be taking the concerns of local fishermen and merchant mariners to satellite radio June 28 on the Busted Halo Show with Father Dave Dwyer.
Father Oubre said he’ll be explaining what Apostleship of the Sea is as well as voicing the recent concerns of the people of the sea over the oil spill in the Gulf. He stressed that many people have the notion that all seafood from the Gulf of Mexico is being affected, but it’s not.
“They are fishing west of Morgan City,” Father Oubre added.
