St. Joseph celebrated in Port Arthur

St. Joseph, Port Arthur, celebrated the feast of its patron saint May 20 with a St. Joseph festival. The event began with a procession around the church grounds which depicted different moments in St. Joseph’s life. There was also live music and excellent food.

Augustinian Father Severiano Fernandez died May 20 at Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth, Beaumont, due to complications from a series of strokes.
