There will be a new face in the Bulldog dugout this season. Msgr. Kelly Catholic High School, Beaumont, named Jimmy Neale as the new baseball coach for the 2012-2013 season.
Neale was named to All-Conference Baseball at Panola Junior College and at Lamar University, Beaumont. He is a graduate of Lamar with degrees in management information systems and business administration/pre-law.
Neale was assistant varsity baseball coach at Kelly 1996-1999 when the Kelly teams were state runner-up for two seasons. He has served as the coach of the nationally-ranked Texas Sun Devils from 2008 to 2012 and has given private baseball instruction since 2001.
Kelly athletic director, Todd Holmes said, “We are excited to have the return of a seasoned coach and look forward to Coach Neale establishing and maintaining a quality baseball program.”
