Bishop Curtis J. Guillory, S.V.D., issued a statement today, Sept. 27, 2012.
A lawsuit originally filed by a single plaintiff in April of this year was recently amended to add two additional plaintiffs. All of the plaintiffs are claiming the Diocese of Beaumont is liable for alleged sexual abuse in the mid-1970s of the plaintiffs by a priest, Ronald W. Bollich, who is now deceased. The amended suit is under review by the diocesan attorney.
