The Texas Barbecue Festival in Vidor got a taste of the Catholic Church Sept 14-16 as the Encounter Catholic booth set up shop.
Staff from diocesan ministries and volunteers from Our Lady of Lourdes, Vidor, St. Henry, Bridge City, as well as volunteers from the Legion of Mary and the Knights of Columbus took pictures of attendees that were printed out and matted, distributed rosaries and brochures and also helped those interested find a parish near them.
