Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Marcia Stevens, was honored by local women’s organization Pioneering Women during its yearly awards luncheon Aug. 9 in Beaumont. The theme for this year was “Women Making Noise.” Stevens was among several leaders in the community honored for their work and perseverance.
In order to be selected women from through the community are nominated by their friends and neighbors. Those nominations are looked over by the Pioneering Women committee and voted on each year.
