Msgr. Kelly Catholic High is getting a new athletic director. Principal Roger Bemis announced July 12 that Kelly alumnus Todd D. Holmes, class of ’93, has accepted the position of head football coach and athletic director for Kelly.
Holmes is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University. While at Stephen F. Austin he played football and was named a two time All-Southland Conference player, an Academic All American player and set a career record for interceptions.
Holmes has coached football, girl’s track and basketball at Robert E Lee High School, defensive coordinator and special teams coach at Booker T. Washington High School, assistant coach at Ross Shaw Sterling High School and special teams and assistant boy’s soccer coach at Alief Elsik High School, all in Houston.
