The first steps of a four-year process began Sept. 14-15 as Jennifer Kensel, a consultant from Catholic School Management, met with representatives from all the Catholic Schools in the diocese to map out how to strengthen their individual schools.

The Serra Club of Beaumont held a benefit fish fry at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Beaumont, Sept. 11. Proceeds from the fish fry will go toward supporting local seminarians studying for the priesthood.
