Junior high aged youth from seven parishes came together April 30 to battle it out for first place in this year’s volleyball tournament held at the Kountze City Park. The teams included Our Lady of Sorrows, China, St. Henry, Bridge City, St. Anne, St. Jude Thaddeus, and St. Joseph all of Beaumont, and the combination of Infant Jesus, Lumberton, and Holy Spirit, Kountze. St. Henry took first, St. Jude was second and St. Joseph, Beaumont, third.
