The pro-life movement holds to the belief that all life is sacred from the moment of conception until natural death. October is also known as Respect Life Month. The Life Chain is an ecumenical event bringing together different faiths for the same cause.Several cities in Southeast Texas will be participating in this year’s Life Chain Oct. 31.
In Beaumont participants will meet in the parking lot of Calvary Baptist Church, 3650 Dowlen Road, at 2:15 p.m.
Those in Mid and South Jefferson County will meet in the Central Mall parking lot on the 9th Avenue side at 2:15 p.m.
Residents of Orange will meet in the parking lot of Kroger, 1600 N.16th St., at 2:15 p.m.
Those in Hamshire and Fannett will meet at the four-way stop at FM 124 and FM 365 at 2:15 p.m.
In Jasper participants will meet at the Lone Star Buffet Restaurant, 500 Wheeler St., at 2:15 p.m. They will be lined up on both sides of U.S. 96.
Those in Kirbyville will meet at the corner of Main Street and Barrow in downtown Kirbyville at 2:15 p.m.
Residents of Vidor will meet in the parking lot of Market Basket, 800 Main St., at 2:15 p.m.
In Lumberton participants will meet at Infant Jesus, 243 S L.H.S. Drive, at 2:15 p.m.
Those in Silsbee will meet at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 1360 FM 327, at 2:15 p.m.
