Do You Know the A, B, C’s of Catholic School Education?

January 28, 2010 by easttexascatholic

A is for – Accessible and Available!  We have room for you in our Catholic schools, plan to visit and witness the Awesome Academic Achievement taking place daily.  We welcome you any time that is convenient for a visit.  Phone numbers and locations will be listed at the bottom.

B is for – Be-Attitude!  Be – in relationship with our God.

Daily students are immersed in studying the Catholic faith, preparing and attending Masses, crowning Mary in her special month, praying the Living Rosary, blessing the pets, celebrating the lives of our saints, experiencing retreats, and participating in the Living Stations of the Cross, to name a few.

Be – in service to our community.  Be – aware of those who are in need.  Our students volunteer at Some Other Place, provide food and monetary donations to Southeast TX Food Bank.  Schools visit nursing and retirement homes, entertain senior citizens and comfort those who have lost loved ones through donations of meals, prayers, and cards.  You will see our students in Bridge City helping after the hurricane and building homes with Habitat for Humanity.  Donations are sent to Birthright, Boys Haven, American Diabetes Assoc., Garth House, and animal shelters.  Students and staff participate in card drives for ARC and Shorkey Center.

C – is for Committed Communities of love with Christ Centered activities for  students, families, teachers and staffs;  O is for – open to God’s action in our lives through active involvement with our parishes; M is for – mission driven; M is for –  Mass participation weekly; U is for – unity and harmony keep us focused on our missions, N is for – nurturing environments that enable all to be the best they can be; I is for – integrity formed by parents and nurtured by our schools; T is for – trust in God and in one another; Y is for – you too should be  part of our COMMUNITY.

D – is for
